The bulbs are soldered in..they can be removed and replaced, it is just delicate work. Go to radio shack with an old bulb and the ones you need. There are 2 different types of bulbs..6 with blue rubber covers and 2 without and cover.. Good luck

SOURCE: auto climate control gets stuck on heat during the

you have a faulty temperature actuator if it has dual a/c heat control levers on control head, you have 2 actuators, left side is under hvac case, right side temp actuator is above hvac case, if you only have 1 temp control on control head then your actuator is at bottom of hvac case the actuator is looking for correct position, it may defaul to full heat.

SOURCE: 2004 Silverado 2500HD. Airbag/Steering wheel control issue

Try unhooking the positive post on the battery this should reset the system. As far as the radio controls and airbag, this shouldn't be related the changing parts. Try checking the fuse panel for burnt out fuses.

SOURCE: 2001 Chevy Silverado Climate control lights/radio

Those lights are not replaceable. You need to replace control if you want lights. Bad design.

My 2004 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab dual Climate control appears to be malfunctioning. The passenger side is blowing hot air with the controls set on AC mode ( 67 Deg ) and the Driver side working...

you may need to have the controller re-calibrated. There is a TSB at the GM dealerships on this. What is happening is the the blend door control for the pass side has OVER-travelled and is stuck in a default position. You can try to pull the Blue fuse under your hood for the HVAC, for about 5-10 minutes and put it back in. (with the engine off) Then restart the truck and turn the Climate control back on, and push and hold the Auto button for 4-5 seconds

2004 Silverado climate control system does'nt function.

If it is as you say, I should check the body harnesses.
When your Silverado was assembled at the factory, the wire harnesses began and ended at the firewall, among many other places.
Each of those locations had a male & a female plug or socket.
If the Silverado ever had a stress in the area of the harness plugs, they could be loose.
Could also get corrosion if there was road salt if you live up north. A car wreck could cause this, or if someone removed and installed the engine.
Lots of reasons.
God bless your efforts.

2001 Chevy Silverado Climate control lights/radio lights? Is there a way to replace those lights or make them work again?

The lights can be replaced, you must disassemble each panel, desolder each bulb and solder in new 12 volt 6 mlliamp from radio shack. Sounds hard but if you look on youtube you will see it's not that hard and you will save alot of money.

2004 Saturn Vue hazard light button pushed into the dash

Same on my 2004 Vue. Pry up shift panel, use putty knifes, slot screew driver, then pry up outer panel (with power window switches). remove screws holding radio, climate control panel (I believe there were 4 screws). gently lift this panel up and push gently toward windshield to unlatch. Don't lift higher than is necessary to acess 4 way flasher switch as climate control cables shouldn't be pulled hard so as do damage to climate control panel. The catches broke on my 4 way switch so I used Goop (from Walmart, Lowes etc.) to glue it in switch recptical. After glue dries, latch panel, screw panel in place and snap widow switch and shif panels in place.

Climate contol does not light up.

Unfortunately the bulbs that light up your climate control are not replaceable and in order to get it to light back up again you need to replace the climate control unit.

Heating/AC mode door does not move2004 Silverado 1500

If it is a ATC automatic control temperature , you will have to find the code. if it is vacuum controlled you will have to check the vacuum hoses that control the mode door. maybe something fell into the defrost vents and it got stuck. the only solution for that is to try fishing out the object through the vents..
