1993 Toyota Camry with no power to radio

I blew a relay and the electronic fuel injection fuse while jumping my car--I've replaced those two things and now the car runs fine but my car stereo has no power. Any ideas where to look? In the fuse box there is a spot labeled "radio" with no fuse in it at all--but it didn't have a fuse before either and a fuse doesn't quite clip in, it looks like it was designed that way though.

I checked the 20 amp DOME fuse and it is good--I can't find a CIG/RADIO fuse but the cigaratte lighter is getting power. There is a fuse label for the RADIO but there was never a fuse there to begin with, even when the stereo was working. Is it likely that the problem is in the cd player itself?

Look at the following two fuses:

    20 amp DOME

    15 amp CIG/RADIO

Let me know if they are blown

Power to radio might have been interrupted and now it has to be reset. Get code from dealer.

SOURCE: toyota camry 95' fuel pump won't turn on

I would definately check the fuel pump relay, should be located in power distribution box in your vehicle, you may be able to switch it out with a relay of the same type to see if it turns on the fuel pump, but you may need a new fuel pump if this doesn't fix it. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: how to replace a fuel pump to a 4 cyl 1993 camry

The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank and it can be reached by removing the back seat of the car.

be sure to get a fuel pump of the same rating with the one you are replacing.

Good luck.

I have a 94 Camry and on the left hand side there is a flip out tray for lose items (etc). You can remove this tray and there are some fuses.

SOURCE: where is the fuse box located on a 1993 toyota

Hiya,

Your fuses on the '93 Camry are usually located behind the coinbox panel on the dashboard, somewhere near your knee.

...and the major fuse links are in the engine bay, under a secured cover next to the battery:

Hope this helps you...

Where is fuse for fuel pump 1993 camry

There is not a special one, it is supplied through the 30A AM2 fuse and the EFI main relay. Sometimes this relay sticks. Try pulling it out and tapping it gently, then replacing it. See here, p279

What is the EFI fuse on a toyota camry

It supplies the EFI Main relay, which in turn powers the fuel pump, ignition switch, and starter relay. In addition it powers the ECM computer, so that if you wish to clear a trouble code from there, you pull the EFI fuse for 30 sec. See here p177

1985 toyota camry unplug mass air flow sensor engine will start plug back in engine dies

There is a switch in the airflow meter that keeps the fuel pump relay closed as long as there is airflow. With the meter unplugged, the pump should not run except when the key is turned to start. It would seem to me that you have a wiring issue. Try jumping the fuel pump relay so the pump runs whenever the key is on. (Remove the relay and jump the pump wire to the accessory wire--see top left diagram.) This defeats the safety feature but will keep the pump running.

93 camry has power wont start, thought it was starter solenoid, replaced w/new starter and solenoid, battery and fuses good still no start

Had the exact same problem on the same car and it was the fuel pump relay. Either replace this or swap it with a headlight relay to verify.

1995 Toyota Camry fuel problem. Engine turns over but not starting. fuel pump fuses OK. Opened diagnostic box and used wire to jump to +B contact with ignition on. No response.

Along with the fuze, there is also a relay in the system. If the relay is defective you will not have any power to the pump. Best to check for current at the pump connector (near or at the fuel tank) with either a test light or volt meter. If you have power, the pump is bad. if not, check the relay and retest.

Hope this helps
