Check for power on the large wire at the starter. There should be power all the time. Check for power on the small wi at the starter. There should be power with the key in the crank position. If both of the above are true than the starter is likely bad.

SOURCE: need unlock code for 2003 buick century car radio

You will need to take the car to a dealership to have the service department unlock the radio for you. They have a special code to unlock the radio and then you are required to change the code to one that you will remember. An appointment should not be needed because this takes about 5 minutes. I do not remember the code, sorry.

SOURCE: where is the radiator drain plug on a 2003 Buick

I cannot speak for all models, but my 1989 Buick Century has a drainage valve located near the bottom of the radiator on the driver side of the car, and can sometimes require pliers to open. It's usually easiest to look for it from under the car....Thanks

After replacing window motor in 2003 buick century now battery keeps draining ???

https://ibb.co/hN6ZwL

Click on the link. If you think power windows is the problem, pull the power window circuit breaker. That should kill it. As far as overnight, when your not using the vehicle.
Check the battery amp draw with everything off. If excessive, check for lamps left on, interior--under the hood--in the trunk. Best time to check is in the dark. A faulty generator might drain the battery? Next, you pull/replace fuses one at a time, when you pull the fuse on the problem circuit, the drain returns to normal. Then you check everything on that circuit. Just my opinion.

What can brain my battery in a 2003 Buick centery

Check for any lites left on, under the hood, interior, everywhere. The best time to check is in the dark.

If access amp drain, pull/replace fuses, one at a time. When you pull the fuse on the faulty circuit the access drain goes away.

Sometimes the battery can drain back through a faulty alternator.

New battery won't start clickig sound buick century 99

If the clicking sound is coming from the engine area, it is most likely the starter solenoid. If you are sure that the battery is fully charged, then you need to clean your cable ends with a small metal brush and a mix of baking soda and water. the surfaces should be metal looking not chalky or green. It sounds like you just are not getting a good connection. You could also replace the two bolts on the cables.

2004 buick rendezvous sometimes won't start. clicks but won't turn over. replaced starter, battery, and ignition switch. what now??

We just went through this with our 2003 Rendevous. Clicking like crazy but wouldn't start. Replaced the starter but still doing the same thing. Our next step was going to be replace the battery (which tested well) and the ignition assembly. Out of frustration, I hit the top of the hood and the headlights came on!! Further investigaton proved that the problem was a corroded ground wire on the battery. Hope this helps

2003 buick century won't start. Ignition switch goes clickety-clickety. Can still lock doors and the lights come on. Noticed the "check engine" light but don't know if it would stay on...

Just because the battery has enough power to operate the lights and door locks does not mean it would pass a load test. If the battery checks out OK then check the battery cables. use one side of a pair of jumper cables to bypass each cable starting with the negative cable. if the vehicle now starts, replace the cable. The positive cable is harder to check using this method. attach one end of the jumper cable to the starter terminal making sure that the end of the jumper cable is not touching the engine and then attach the other end to the positive terminal of the battery. If sparking occurs when this end is connected then the jumper cable is touching ground and must be repositioned. If the problem still exists then the most likely cause is the starter solenoid. Always wear safety glasses when working around a battery.

2003 Buick Century won"t start--can hear the clicking under the engine.

Hi
If you can hear clicking under the hood, my guess is corroded battery terminals. Use water and some baking soda. Pour on terminals AFTER you disconnect them. Don't spill on your paint and rinse well. Next check the cables for wear and for a corroded ground wire to the frame. Check the cables at the starter. Then make sure your battery has 12V DC. If all good, look toward starter solenoid or starter itself.
