Malfunctioning Indicator Light still on....

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, straight 6, 4.0L. It's running hard with jerking when pressing the gas, seems okay in neutral. I had it scanned for a code and it came back Cylinder 1 was misfiring. Hubby changed the plugs, then replaced the coil, then the fuel injector to Cylinder 1. The fuel filter is fine. (Thank you for that answer but we already checked that too.) Still no change in how its operating. The 'malfunction indicator light' is still on and blinking and it's running like ****. We are all stupified. Any other suggestions?? I miss my baby and with this NE Ohio weather, I need her!!!!!

Check the injector for proper voltage. Check the cam sensor,,,,,DO NOT remove it unless you index it to the block. generally, a malfunction of the sensor will affect all cylinders, PS: you did check to make sure there is adequate spark at #1 plug, right?

1999 jeep grand cherokee brake light problem: tha center light works when i press the brake, but the left and right don't. i replaced the brake switch. trailer brake light work. what could the problem be?

Don't know if this will help but its how i fixed my 2001. Go to: http://www.2carpros.com/forum/2001-jeep-grand-cherokee-laredo-brake-lights-not-working-vt4814.html Tip: If you have a small piece of medal to put under the ground contact point then it will keep it raised in place, i used a really big staple from a staple gun to slide under mine I also replaced all the sockets that the bulbs go into cause mine were falling apart and may have been a part of the problem.
