It is very hard to start when started for the first time each day, after that it starts fine. It runs very rough when I first start out driving after I finally get it started. The oil Pressure gauge runs constantly between 5O and 8O. After driving about 20 miles the engine smells hot and also the tahoe has an oil leak and coolant leak
Not enough info, what engine, fuel injected? if so what type, multi port, or throttle body? oil pressure is not the problem, it could have a Hi-Perf. oil pump. fix the leaks, they will make a horrible odor. and coolant leaks will make it run hot.

Hello, yes the check valve is in the fuel pump assembly. The check valve is leaking and the pump will burn out soon. Unfortunately the aftermarket fuel pumps can be very unreliable. A good portion of problems we see on this site are from people who replace the pump sometimes twice and it still doesn't work.

replace your MAP sensor(manifold absolute pressure) the map sensor is the computer for your fuel pressure regulator telling how much pressure. Unless your tahoe runs like **** going up hill than it inevitably your fuel pump

if its not a fuse check the speed sensor for the tach, and the oil pressure switch on the side of the engine block see if the lead came loose
