Car was over heating and mechanic changed motor cylinder. after we brought car home i went to put gas in it but it wont let nuzzle in just shoot it out. I pulled out and park it, but when i try to start the car nothing happened not even a crank. Changed battery and still nothing. It has tekguard anti theft alarm..could the alarm lock them down and how do you disassemble it

The fuse box may have gone bad and your getting electrical shorting. Check the fuse box under the hood that may have gone bad and may need to be replaced, look for corrosion where the fuse goes into and the wire harness. Don't know if you had your car since new, but there are a lot of cars from the Katrina Hurricane that was under water and the electrical system have major corrosion that should just be showing up now. i had the same vehicle and my code was 8040. What really bothered me was this car was sooooo cheap, the stereo was cheap, the whole integrity of the car is cheap, however they have an anti theft on the stereo. ha ha lol! Don't spend any money trying to figure it out, either pick up a new stereo or give the car away!

take it to a shop were they can hook up ur car to a computer and delete the problems and turn off ur alarm
