The door chime is played over the speaker. I had the same issue the speaker was junk. The circuit resistance was correct but no tunes. Replaced the speaker with one from the junk yard and sounds great all the time.

there is a plug at the back of the radio connecting it to the vehicle wiring loom. If you can get at thes plug, either from below or by removing the radio unit, make sure the plug is tight and secure. I can't think that the amp has gone or you would have lost all sound, so this is more than likely the problem.

I have the same problem. Seems when it is dry outside, the radio works pretty good but when the humidity is up, speakers dont work and sounds like treble in the other speakers.

I've had this same thing happen on my 2007 Acadia. In the past, it was temporary and would start working again. I've now been 4 days with no turn signal sound and absolutely no audio from radio/cd/dvd.
I just confirmed it was the radio AMP that went out. Another $650 down the drain - this seems like a defect in the vehicle given the number of people who have reported this same behavior!
I'm having the same problem with mi acadia right know. so did you take it to the dealer to get fixed?
