My front heated seat in my buick rendezvous still produces heat, but only in one spot, and that one spot gets incredibly hot. It is definitely not the same heated seat that I've had for the past years.
Is it expensive to fix, and do you think it's covered under the extended warranty that I purchased through GM when I bought my car used?

sounds like the thermal regulator is not operating properly. and it doesn't hurt to call and see about the warranty!!!
