2 small items have fallen thru the crack when the small door is opened. need to get them out

you have to loosen the mounting bolts on the fuse panel and on the bottom side the fuse is held in by 2 8 millimeter bolts.

You remove the positive and negative connectors and take out battery and then installation is opposite of removal. Make sure not to mix up the connections as you can do serious damage to your vehicle. You may want to consider going to a place like sears, when you buy a battery they can install it for free. Business cards slid down in the slot on my wife's car and prevented lid from opening. Using a very small flat blade screwdriver, I was able to work the cards to the center of the slot which allowed the protrusions on the back of the lid to go down thus allowing the lid to be opened farther. I rocked the lid up and down until I could get the lid all the way open. I continued this opening and closing until the cards were in a position I could get them
out. The whole process took about 5 minutes.
