Sounds like the stereo has been wired into the vehicle with the ignition wire and the hot wire together hot is red ignition is yellow if so seperate the two to the appropriate loactions

have the car scanned with a scanner capable of reading ABS codes,get back to me with the code and we'll go from there. sounds like like one of the wheel sensors is bad. this controls both ABS and TRACTION CONTROL

penomik is right have the dealer check it most likely its the sensor in the steering wheel let them deal with it.

You will have to get the airbag code read to be sure but I have had to replace the clockspring in my steering wheel and also the airbag wiring harness under the passenger seat on my 2002 Lincoln LS, all in less than one year. If you or someone you know can help you remove the seat you can do the wiring harness yourself, it is a simple clip.

You need to take it to Autozone and get it scanned asap. When that light flashes, it means the computer has detected a major problem.
