1995 chevy caprice 9c1

My speedometer doesnt work but all the lights work on the dash and yes the speedometer is digital

Instrument cluster lights up, but no speedometer light display or milage display.

I have a 1994 9c1 with the same problem. It is a common problem with these cars.I don't know the specifics of fixing it.But I do know it costs aboout $200 to fix.

YOUR SPEDOMETER WORK WITH A SIGNAL FROM THE GEARBOX. I AM SURE THE AUTO PILOT DOESN'T WORK TOO. IT CAN BE LOOSE, CABLE BROKE OR THE INTERNAL COMPONENT FROM THE GEARBOX IS DAMAGED

Check your fuses and if you recently installed a radio that might be your problem make sure all your ground is grounded correctly

On a 1995 chevy caprice when i turn on my headlights its making a buzzing sound and the dash is still working and my dome light will not go off when i start my car it will go off in bout one minute?

first turn off you dome with the light switch. then have you light switch checked to see if it bad.its a start to your problem. then your light relay has to be checked.
along with your fuses and possible wiring problem.

Caprice engine/speedometer

Sounds like battery cable is no longer connected to the battery post clamp. These can be repaired but I would recommend a new cable or cables. Parts store can ook up correct ones. Be sure battery terminals are clean before installing new cables.

My 95 caprice 9c1 lt1 will start and run fine for about 5 minutes..then it will start bogging out and die and it wont start back up unless i leave it alone for about an hour then it will do the same...

SOUND LIKE FUEL PUMP FAILING.

It may be the speed sensor in the transmission,I do not think it has a speedometer cable,but check the sensor first,then if you need a speedometer,,the dealer,or the junkyard.

I have a 96 caprice 9c1 5.7 when I turn my signals or roll window

Reolace belt, alternator, and volt regulator, and new battery. sounds like your battery is on fumes. You could just try that first, but if it's the other prob., you could damage the battery.
