SOURCE: 93 chevy lumina euro won't stay running

if you can check for spark when it wont start and fuel pressure and the service port , would be great information , otherwise pattern failure is ignition module and crank sensor (replace them as a set) , after cools off it will run again.

SOURCE: The hood will not close on my Chevy Venture (2002)

First thing to do would be to lubricate it well & work it with a screwdriver or similar, as well as cable where its attached to mechanism, it may not have snapped back to latch position yet.

SOURCE: i have a broken hood latch and the hood is down

I think your cable came loose from the latch. try to see it through the grill, maybe you can get to it with a long flat tip screwdriver

SOURCE: Radiator Cooling fans pull or push air (93 Chevy Lumina 3.1 L) ?

A radiator fan is designed to pull air to pull air through the radiator to help cool it, while blowing the air on back across the engine to try to assist once again at keeping the unit running cool as to not over heat.

Hood latch won't latch when closing

Raise hood, have some one go pull hood latch and you look at latch and see if it releases,if it doesn't then cable may need replacing,I would'nt completely shut hood cause you may not get back open, also check hood latches bolts and latch for something bent or broken.

I have a 2004 chevy cavalier and the trunk latch won't click into place and close fully, therefore the trunk won't close fully.

yes that could be the problem. try this putt your key in to the lock and turn it to unlock it , check to see if latch is open ,while still holding the key in the unlock position close the trunk and relock it with the key while pushing down on the hood at the same time. replace the lock when you can .there is no quick fix for this unless u use a bungee cord for it .

95 audi hood latch won't release

Common problem on MANY cars. Try getting an helper to "thump" on the hood while you pull the cable. If this works to get it to pop up, I would recommend lubricating the hood latch assembly with some lithium spray lube before closing it again.

My 93 caravan the hood latch won't catch to keep the hood closed

Your hood latch probably isn't returning to the right position for it to catch. This is commonly caused by one of two problems: (1) too much hardened grease and crud on the latch itself is keeping it from operating freely; or (2) the hood release cable has gotten rusty or kinked over time and is no longer releasing completely.
I would suggest testing the hood release cable before doing anything else. It's an easy test and it only takes a minute. Enlist the help of a second person to pull the hood release lever while you look at the hood latch. When your helper pull on the release, you should see the cable pull part of the hood latch. When they let go, that part should swing back to its prior position. Using a long-shafted screwdriver, see whether you can "help" that moving part move any further on its return path. If you can push the latch any significant amount, it's not returning all the way to its proper position, and your hood release cable is probably binding.
In the short term, if you manually push the hood latch back into position, you should be able to close your hood again. However, you'll have to do this each time you open the hood. In addition, you run the risk that, not too far in the future, your hood release cable will actually completely bind or snap, and then you'll have a much harder time opening your hood to replace the cable (or do anything else, like add oil or washer fluid).

I can't open the hood of my 97 chevy lumina?

Take a flashlight and observe the latch, under the hood, and try to find what exactly is catching on what. Use a flat head screwdriver to pry away whatever is catching, and open your hood.

The hood release on my 1993 chevy lumina snapped. the lever seems to have snapped from inside the car since it isnt attatced anymore. how much will this cost to fix at a shop?

YOU CAN FIX IT EASILY AT HOME IF IT IS JUST THE HANDLE. THE CABLE WOULD REQUIRE ABOUT 1-1.5 HOURS LABOR TO REPLACE SO DONT PAY MORE THAN THAT.
