There is a white looking plastic piece in your fuse box with the fuses. or at lest there should be. its in the middle of the fuse box. just pushed into a holder. pull on it and it should come out. then just push the puller straight on the fuse and pull back and the fuse should come out. if no fuse puller is there than just use regural needle nose pliers. grab the fuse and pull. thats it.

Remove fuse 120a

You cannot change the fuse the way that you are trying. You need to loosen all of the bolts that holds the fuse box to the inner fender, and then observe the sides of the box, there are tabs that allow the exterior/bottom of the box to be pulled DOWN. After the box bottom is released, the 120 Amp fuse is accessible.
Hope this helps.

My cd/radio all the sudden stopped working maybe fuse??

There are two fuse boxes. One is located on the kick panel in front of the passenger side seat. Remove the big cover. Inside there is a second cover that ultimately gets you to the fuses. Try #20 (reference the template on the inside of the cover). There is a second fuse box (high current fuses) inside the engine compartment (on the passenger side of the compartment, big square plastic box). Fuse # 56 (reference the template inside the cover of the fuse box). Same deal.

By the way, there is a fuse removal tool inside the interior fuse box (white plastic piece on the left side of the box). You will need that removal tool to work on the ones in the engine compartment. That other box doesn't have a tool.
Hope this helps.

Alt fuse 2004 4runner

The fuse is bolted in to the power buss-bar in the fuse box. You have to remove the fuse box center section from the outer section (pull it up) to access the 8 or 10 millimeter bolts that holds it to the buss-bar. No other way to do it.
