SOURCE: Heat wont blow through heater or defroster vents

The door in the heater box is most likely stuck. It is located under the dash on the passenger side

common problem, check under dash by the gas pedal if control arms are muving went selecting from ac to heat cuz this it is the control for the vents to go from ac to heat and to defrost.

SOURCE: Dash vents will not blow air. Defroster and floor vents blow fine.

Is it a new vehicle? I had a new vehicle that had the same problem. Answer was that the holes weren't punched out of the vent.

SOURCE: Upper air conditioning does not blow out just lower 97 chevy 1500

reset the CPU is done with a code reader as the program may be corrupted and tapping the negative will only make it worse.

sound like maybe the blend door actuator is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced they are all computerized so if the actuator is not working properly it will store a code and not allow to set climat

Where is the vent filters located at on a 1990 regency 98 blower fan is working but the vents and floor vents dont blow but defrost works

if the defroster blows then you have actutator doors not opening to the other vents.
