Hi again, I'm sorry I may know a bit about cars, but I'm not very computer savoy so I am unable to post a photo. But this may help the fuse box is on the left side of your dash board, you must have the driver door open to find it. On the back side of the fuse box cover is a list of the fuses. And the fuse for the daytime lights is located on the 2nd row down it's 3rd fuse from the left. Hope this was more help. Note: make sure your emergency brake is completely off, just one click will true your running lights off.

Are the head lights on all the time 1999 chevy silverado 1500 4x4

In the 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500, the headlights are not designed to be on all the time by default. They are typically controlled manually by the driver using the headlight switch, although some vehicles may have a daytime running lights (DRL) feature. If the headlights are continuously on, it could be due to a modification or wiring issue, and it's recommended to consult the vehicle's manual and seek professional assistance if needed.

1999 Chevy Siverado, no daytime running light lights and a constant dinging or chiming noise. Checked fuses and they all appear good.

Hi :) When your Day time running lights don't come on that could be one of the High beam bulbs are burned out or the emergency brake is on just anought to turn off the day time running lights which is the way they should work but some people don't reallize that the lighting system is ment to work like that.

Need a fuse box diagram for a 1999 Silverado 1500. Trailer running lights are not working and need to know which fuse to check.

Hello, my name is Ben. Here is the diagram, sorry it's so small but the site has limits on images. The two upper left that are circled are 10A, one for left turn and one for right turn. The circled one in the middle is for parking 15A. The brake fuse seems to be the same one for all lights and it's behind the panel on the driver's end of the dashboard. If I can help anymore, just ask. 5dc3da8.jpg

Daytime running lights

check the sensor on the dash that operates the headlights. If it thinks it's always night, then it will act that way. Check to see if it's dirty, or covered up, or such to begin with, if not, it may just need replaced.

2000 Silverado daytime running lights don't work. bulbs new.

Not saying that you don't know this but the daytime lights are turned off in park.
If that is not your problem, a friend of mine uses the amber bulbs, they last longer.

Does anyone know how to gain access to the daytime running light

there should be two metal rods that you remove to take out the head lamp assembly and then you can remove the daytime/turn signal cluster

Daytime running lights don't come on 96 chevy 1500 not switch at parking brake or fuse

I had this issue with my 1999 C1500.  I had to jump my truck a couple of times, because I left the inside light on and I found when I did this my daytime running lights worked briefly.  I wondered why, but didn't give it much thought.  I had to replace my battery a couple of months ago and my daytime running lights started working all the time.  Even though my battery would start my vehicle, run the interior components, etc., it didn't have enough voltage for the daytime lights.  Check your battery voltage under a load, see if it helps.
