The slave cylinder on Saturn vehicles will be on the passenger side down by the wheel well, . The bleeder valve is a small screw with a hole in the top of it. --------- If you are replacing slave cylinder and you need more details,in that case click the link below for slave cylinder replacing details and diagrams:--- http://technoanswers.blogspot.com/2011/10/how-to-replace-clutch-slave-cylinder-on.html ---------- This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Thank you so much. I'm hoping it's quick fix. I've only had the car for 3 weeks and now I get to learn how to work on it. And being female I need all the help I can get. lol.

Yes its a quick fix, can be done at any local car garage. But after replacing the slave cylinder the air needs to be properly bleed. If the air locks are in there, then clutch problem will be noticed and also master cylinder can get faulty.
In most cases getting it replaced as a complete sealed unit is advisable.------
    Thanks.Helpmech.

On a manual transmission the Clutch Slave Cylinder is located on the drivers side front of the transmission. You can locate it by first finding the clutch master cylinder on the drivers side of the firewall. Then fallow the plastic line to the front of the transmission.

To remove the slave you will first twist it then pull it out of the transmission.

The clutch slave and mater cylinder are replaced as an assembly.

Is a 1999 sl2 engine *(block only) compatiable with any other year engine block?

If your thinking of interchanging the head or short block then you can, depending on the cylinders, because the saturn sl2 2000 and 1999 were one of the few models ever to make a 1.9 liter DOHC. if you have a 1.8 DOHC then you should be fine with a 2001 or 2002

1999 saturn SL2 - #2 cyl missfires - coil,wires,plug are good- bad injector?

could be, but...
make sure you have good spark, compare with another cylinder.
You can use a noid light to see if the injector(s) are getting the electrical signal to "fire" fuel.
You can run a compression test on all cylinders to see if mechanically they are all sound.
What I do, is swap injector #2 to another cylinder and see if the condition follows.
