My 2004 Monte Carlo SS runs loud and it never did before. It's loud at low and high speeds, but seems to sound worse at low speeds. I do need a front end alignment (the car drifts to the left); would this affect the car to cause the loud running engine?

That depends on if you think the noise is coming from the motor, or the actual road noise that comes with driving , its probably the same at both speeds but sine you have less air and outside noise,, you hear it more at lower speeds. does it make the same noise when started but not moving? if you answer that yes, then its something else besides road noise, if it is no, then get your front end checked, it could be anything from a bad alignment to a bad wheel bearing, or bad brake ,

Car seems like its running out of gas at low speeds but at high speeds it seems ok i just replaced fuel filter and no change

Could have a bad or dirty mass air flow sensor ! Your best bet is to have the vehicle hooked up to a professional grade scan tool an have sensor data checked .

2004 chevy montecarlo SS, speedometer not working. Replaced the speed sensor and it's still not working. What could be wrong

Lots of problems with instrument clusters on those cars. Go on line and you will find that you can have the complete cluster refurbushied for $200-250 dollars. If you have a graphing multi memter or lab scope you can check the signal from the sensor to the cluster or pay a mechanic to do it. Based on the large number I replace as a professional tech I would send the cluster out.

I have a 04 Monte Carlo ss and need to add ac charge. Is the low side port along the firewall or the one that sits by the air cleaner?

The Air Conditioning Ports (High Side and Low Side) are different Sizes.

The High Side is Larger and RED
The Low Side is Smaller and Blue

ALWAYS FILL on the LOW SIDE

Sounds strange but make sure your low beam bulbs are good [ they have an average life span- they may have both burnt out at the same time ]. This happened to me once in the 1980's with a VW rabbit.

Weird noises in 2004 Monte Carlo SS Intimidator Edition

you have a rod in the motor that is about to go out so i would sell the car if you don't know how to replace a motor. when that rod goes your car will stop running and the motor will need to be rebuilt. from the sound of it the rod isnt too bad yet because the sound goes away at operating temp so you could get quite a few more miles out of it (0-4000) but it a piece of machinery and could go out tomorrow.

2002 Monte Carlo SS starting when it wants

The Starter silenoid is probably what the problem is. And the knocking could that be a loose starter? The two problems doesn't seem connected.
