looking at the wire harness it looks like its on the right front of the block which is the passenger side front underneath sometimes locators are wrong there is a heat shield covering it also there is a Technical Service Bulletin out on this problem for the blinking light usually it's the pressure sender but you may have oil pressure problems also
You need to have that chk'd out. Even low oil pressure can damage the engine let alone no oil pressure. Ck your oil level. It is a serious issue to have that light on. Good Luck, _Ned_
I had the same problem on a 2002 Stratus. I also had a Diagnostics Code of P0455(EVAP leak). I replaced the gas cap and this fixed the problem. I don't know what EVAP leak had to do with the oil pressure light coming on, but the new gas cap fixed it.
per the Haynes manual for the 95-05 Dodge Stratus on the 2.0L & 2.4L DOHC 4 cyl engines, the oil pressure sending unit is located at the left end of the rear side of the block. On 2.4L SOHC 4 cyl engines, the sending unit is located at the left end of the rear side of the block. On 2.5L & 3.0L V6 engines, the sending unit is located on the oil filter housing, on the front side of the block. On 2.7L V6 engines, the sending unit is located at the left end of the rear side of the block. To access it, remove the heat shield.
