Which light is out? Is it an instrument cluster light, or one on the temperature or A/C cluster? It it's an instrument cluster light, here is the process: (I'm assuming the 99 is similar to the 98) Remove the bottom dash panel under the steering wheel, remove the instrument cluster cover around the steering column. This will reveal the screws that hold your instrument cluster cover in place. Remove this cover and you can then see and remove the 4 screws holding your instrument cluster in place. Pull your instrument cluster out, remove the main wire connector, then you have access to all the instrument cluster lights on the back side. Hopefully you remember which one is out!

How do I change my rear License plate light bulb on my 1999 Plymouth Voyager minivan.

If it is not possible to take the lens off from the outside. (this is the normal way on most cars) Open the tailgate and remove the whole interior panel. Its not as hard as it sounds. This should allow access.

the bulb assembly may have a short in it. when you replace the bulb in the left side, try applying bulb grease to the bulb itself. this way,the connection to the left bulbs not losing connection.this will assist you in replacing all of your bulbs in the future. add bulb grease. thank you for choosing fixya.com
