Usually a scanner to read the engine fault code could lead to the correct diagnosis and repair. But if this transmission was recently repaired bring it back and tell them to do their job.

Cheapest thing to try is a fluid flush and filter change. Unfortunately, if that does not work, then next bet is probably a rebuild.

Open the air filter box... pull out the old air filter and put in the new one. then close the box tight.
