When your battery light comes on in most cases it means that you have a charging problem and not really a bad battery. There are a couple of things you want to check before replacing the alternator. In one of the fuse panels there is a 50 amp fuse to check and also a fusible link. You can check the black and green wire right at the alternator plug. This wire should have the same voltage as the battery does. If it doesn't check the fuse and fuse link or wiring. If it does have the same voltage, more then likely it's the altenator. Below are some pictures to help. I hope I have been able to help.

I'm not sure about changing it every 25,000 miles. Most manufacturer's have a span of 50,000 to 80,000 miles. newer cars could be different but you should be able to find that information in your owner's manual. There should be a section in there that deals with lubrication and maintenance schedules. It's usually a table design, just read down until you see trans fluid and go cross to see the intervals. If you don't have the owner's manual then a call to the service department at the dealer will provide the info you need.

Having said that, 10 years is a long time to go without changing the oil. Oil degrades over time and while you may be below the mileage for the oil change you have certainly gone past the life span of the oil. A lot of transmission failures can be triggered by too old transmission oil. I would look at getting it done in the near future. There should also be a filter in there. Replace it as well. This sounds like you did all the correct checksand that the clock is bad and is time to replace it, thelcd screen sounds like its bad, i would go to a junk yard and just get another one and pop it in , good day.

it means your car has the obd2 trouble code, you need a scan tool to diagnose out the code...this elm327 1.4 can diagnose your car. Or you can take your car to auto zone or car dealer to check it.

go to auto-zone and they will put a OBD-II scanner on it as long as the light stays on. they will do it for free! to tell you what the problem may be. and read the problem code. good-day!

Whats the milage on it?
you seem to have a serious leak, have you checked if it leaves an oil puddle after you parked overnight, if not, try that next morning.
Is is burning oil, do you see blue smoke come out of the tailpipe, if you do, then you are seriously burning oil, engine is asking for an overhaul...

This code reffers to a Mass air flow sensor or(MAF) Check the connections and /or replace it. Good luck.
