Code b2796 however no immobilizer in vehicle

Hello! Know for sure that you already fixed or burned your car lol... i had the same issue and resolved with an stupidity. There is a fuse that the car might or might not need depending if it does have an inmobilizer or not. Mine did not have it therefore the fuse was not needed. Once I removed it issue was fixed.

Just had new turbo fitted but car is lacking power, took car back to garage turbo is working as it should, had it scanned came up with injector pump, cleared fault still the same, disconnected maf senso

In the old days the turbo wastegate was closed and the turbo left to its own devices to produce as much pressure as it could until it reached maximum when the wastegate would open. In modern times the turbo wastegate is open and no pressure is produced unless the engine management decides to close the wastegate. The wastegate is closed (mostly) by a vacuum servo and the vacuum supply is switched on/exhausted by the management computer as it decides. Conditions of low boost/power loss or overboost can be difficult to locate/cure. It is usually pointless relying on basic scanners and code readers because they are often misleading. It is far better to entrust diagnosis to a diagnostic specialist who will have the equipment and experience to view the live data and make sense of it.

My 2001 rav 4 has locked down on me and I cant get the alarm to stop nor will my car crank. I dont have the car remote clicker

You need to have the codes read for the security. Could be the key, receiver, wiring, bad fuse, or module that has died. It takes a scanner to read security. I would start with the fuses. If I don't have the fuse diagram, I pull one at a time, replace it if it is bad. But I pull all them and relays. Doing this gets rid of corrosion problems also. I have fixed many cars just by pulling a good fuse and putting it back in. Corrosion...

My 51 plate Rav 4 is making a really bad noise from the back, it sounds like a helicopter, what would it be?

could be a faulty tyre--( belt seperation -tyre side wall bulge) or drive line "U" joint failure. I would start at the tyres first as they are the easiest to replace.

Code P1155 shows on OBDII scaner for rav4 2001 2W dr..

P0420 & P0430 are catalyst codes. Both catalytic converters are gone! Only fix is to replace them both. Don\'t believe the clean them out does not work. There is a bulletin to reflash,"update" the ECU software for these codes. Toyota tells us to do this after you replace the converters. It is just a bulletin, not a recall. They will charge you if your vehicle has more than 80,000 mile on it. Under 96 months or 80,000 it should be covered under your emissions warranty.

How do I replace the oil pump on my 2001 Toyota rav4

You have to take the front covers off the engine and while you are that far into the engine you should replace the timing chains; there are kits of all parts needed available. Here is a link with lots of good information: 1az fe balance cam shaft

Where is the oil pump located on the 2001 RAV 4?

I would call around and get some estimates and find out if your mechanic is being competitive. The oil pump is a big job, and is located in side the oil pan. If I am not mistaken, on the rav4 there is a cross member that goes across the oil pan preventing you from just taking it down. You lhave to unbolt the engine mounts and jack the engine up enough to remove the pan and get to the pump. I would still recommend calling around and getting some estimates. The rav 4 is not known for having oil pump issues. Could you please tell me why your mechanic says you need to replace this part?
