there should be a platen on the bottom of the motor on the driver side in front of where the transmission bolts on. It looks like it is a plate sticking off of the motor casting itself. Hope this helps.

Most vehicles including Porshe V8 have hydraulic valve lifters, only early 911's had mechanical lifters as I recall, was a pain to adjust every 20K or so. If you are hearing a tap, it is probably stuck valve lifter, try Lucas Oil Additive to unplug it and free it up. Good luck, FREE-PPV

Well it could be fuel or spark. So you would need to figure out which system is causing the problem to know what to test. Could also be a relay getting hot and failing. When it won't start check for spark first then fuel pressure.

Could be a number of things, dirty fluids,solenoid packs or sensors bad worn clutches converter, thrust plates piston or pistons bad in the gear clutch plate housing ,i would start with the simple fluid change first.

ohhhhh not easy lol::))) no jokes asside you need to get too the battery and connect another well charge good battery then it will unlock easy you may find you can just connect the battery to the starter motor or alternator at a point to give it juce let it stand for about 15 mins to power up the old battery i would go for the starter motor solinoid contact myself or the battery its self a mirror on a stick and some torches

I'm not familiar with this model so I'll go by the usual culprits. My guess is that the air duct to the passenger side has had its operating mechanism come off. This will entail removing the under dash kick trim and a certain amount of gymnastics to lie in the footwell while someone operates the heater controls, You should be able to see(with a flashlight) the control cables etc moving. It may be just a matter of clipping a cable or cable end back onto the flaps. If you turn the blower on you may find a part of the trunking displaced, by the rush of air into the dash and not down the vents.
