check coolant level -oil level and condition if milky --but water in spark plug holes is an indication of blown head gasket --cracked head--block or intake

It might be the alternator that has gone bad and needs to be replaced and it could be a problem with the alternator too.

someone on fixya recommended it to me and I thank him even today
They have full manuals and it's verrrrry cheap and mine

The fuel Filter on the Lincoln LS Is located Inside of the Left front
Fender..
You will need to remove the Left front tire.
Remove the Plastic guard of the Fender. at your right side you will see
The fuel Filter..

Sounds like a fouled plug or loose plug wire or, fouled speed sensor? Do you have a code reader or have it checked for free at Autozone or same type of dealer
