2006 Lincoln Navigator. I bought everything new, computer mainframe module, alternator and battery and now It doesn't want to start?

When you disconnected the battery you also disconnected all the systems for the immobilizer and security system. It needs resetting.

2006 Lincoln Navigator. What wire is on the A/C compressor pulley and if cut can stop the truck starting?

It shouldn't do, but that vehicle has so many modules and sensors even for AC and heating. You will need a mobile auto electrician. You should never cut wires, just remove connectors and tape them up. If you cut the wires with the battery connected, the cutting may have shorted something. If you disconnected the battery the security system needs resetting. https://www.google.com/search?q=2006+Lincoln+Navigator.+A%2FC+compressor+wiring ...

2006 Lincoln Navigator. I need the complete wiring schematic for it please.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to Yes, Model category. It is one of the most complex electrical systems on a modern vehicle. You will only get the full wiring in a service manual or from a subscription with AllData. You can however usually bring up part wiring diagrams. Gear shifter will not go

Shift Interlock System The shift interlock system prevents shifting from PARK unless the brake pedal is depressed. The shift interlock system consists of a shift lock actuator mounted at the base of the steering column or on the floor shifter mechanism. If the ignition switch is in the RUN position, the shift lock actuator is ON unless the brake pedal is depressed. Symptom Chart Symptom Chart Condition Possible Sources Action

06 Lincoln navigator front left air spring is flat and not operating

Try this from my previous post.... Have a similar problem... My 2003 Lincoln Navigator was manufactured May 22, 2003 so it's the late model that came with the Intec 5.4 Liter DOHC V-8 (not the Triton engine). I replaced the two front ride height sensors (one for each air strut) and replaced the one rear ride height sensor that controls the ride height for BOTH rear air struts. (Yours may have one ride height sensor for each of the rear air struts.) That solved the problem for a few months during the warm months, until the weather started cooling off. Then back to the same issue. The front passenger air strut started releasing air from the solenoid (air block) making a "hissing sound." Replaced BOTH front air strut solenoids (connected at the top of each air strut). That also resolved the problem for a few days. After going all around the world, I discovered it's the Air Ride Control Module (ASM) that was the problem all along.

U2023 06 navagator

U2023 Fault Received from External Node Instrument Cluster REFER to Section 418-00 . Do you have a no - crank - no start condition ? Do you know what medium speed C.A.N is ? Their is a high an medium speed C.A.N serial data communication network for all the modules on the vehicle to share info on. Does a scan tool communicate with the instrument cluster ? Or any or all modules on the vehicle ? Instrument Cluster The instrument cluster uses the medium speed CAN. The instrument cluster also uses the high speed CAN to communicate with other modules. It is an analog face cluster with a digital odometer. The instrument cluster displays a variety of information. For additional information, refer to Section 413-01 . Principles of Operation The vehicle has 4 module communications networks:
  • the standard corporate protocol (SCP) communications network (Navigator with navigation system only)
  • the international standards organization (ISO) 9141 communications network
  • the medium speed controller area network (CAN)
  • the high speed CAN
The diagnostic tool connects to all 4 networks through the data link connector (DLC). This makes diagnosis and testing of these systems easier by allowing one diagnostic tester to be able to diagnose and control any module on the 4 networks from one connector. The DLC can be found under the instrument panel between the steering column and the audio unit.
  • The instrument cluster does not respond to the diagnostic tool
  • Circuit or connection in the medium speed controller area network (CAN)
  • Circuit or connection in the high speed CAN
  • Instrument cluster
  • Go To Pinpoint Test I .

Why doesn't nav screen work when it is cold?

Screen is made of liquid crystals that have to be warm inorder to function. The older they get the more susepitble to cold they area and are slow to react. There is probably a fuction built in to alllow warning of the screen and prevent damage.. Read your manual

Battery drains overnight

I had this problem in a car before. You likely have a short somewhere in the wiring throughout the car. It can be expensive and time consuming to go throughout all the wiring of the car. The easiest way to stop the battery from dying in the meantime is to disconnect the battery when you're not driving it. At least until you figure out the wiring issue.

This morning i was driving & out of nowhere it turned off. Now it won't turn on the radio A/C & lights etc will turn on but the car won't start. are there any fuse numbers i can check or relays?

When the anti theft system was created, the dealers forgot to tell the new car buyers about how much the fob matters to the vehicle, without it,owners are stuck, your anti theft device is activated, you need to lock and unlock your doors a couple times with the key fob,not the key,and then you need to put the key in the ignition and start it,if you dont have your key fob, call your car dealer to get a new one, they are programmed for each car only, you cannot bypass it.if you lost your fob or never had it,whatever, you need to have the exact fob that came with that car from the factory, the key and fob have a chip in them that only go to that certain car,if you do not have it,then you need to buy a new one from the dealer or ebay and then you need to contact your dealer about programming the fob to your car,you might not have to have it towed if they have the documents from the car,the only other way is to get a junk car, with the steering column, key, fob and all computer boxes and door locks and switch them,i just did that with a 98 dodge dakota, and it works.

Why did my driver seat stop working? When I try to adjust my seat, I hear a click but nothing happens. I have a 2006 Lincoln Navigator. Can you help me fix my problem?

Sounds like the clicking sound is a 'stripped' gear in the seat adjustment area. You will have to take the seat out and look at the gears....might be able to fix or you might have to go to junk yard and get another one.
