Most cars are set up to run fans anytime AC is on. You may have a thermostat for the fans or a relay which gets hot and fails.

I'm not too familiar with the Lexus but if it's anything like a camry the switch is located at the bottom of the radiator.

Are you sure you have the air conditioning on and not the fan?? sounds very much like it. The airconditioning compressor is discrete, separate from the engine/heater. Is your coolant reservour fully charged with coolant? Think you may need to check these

You just had to disconnect the negative off the old battery first. Then you disconnect the positive and it happens to touch metal it won't short anything out. Make sure you can not wiggle the cables, that the connectors at the battery can't spin or move at all. Tighten them more if necessary, try to start it. Let me know if you still have problems.

Remove the dvd from the unit in the back and reset it, then put the dvd back in. This worked for me.

Make sure the connections are good at the battery and starter. Make sure the new battery is fully charged. It should read at least 13-14 volts. Just because lights come on doesn't mean the connection is good enough to start the engine nor does it mean there is enough charge to start the engine. The only other thing it would likely be is the starter solenoid itself. Kind of doubt it on an '04 Lex though.

Check you have load adjuster in cabin on 0. if you have recently changed bulbs check they are aligned properly it is quite easy to get some types upside down. The cup shaped bit in the bulb should be under the filament (not on top)

If the old key is worn out and not kicking the lock tumblers over, get the VIN number and registration and take these to the dealer. The dealer will sell you a new key.

Remove the top bezel of the gate. It pops/prys off. Then you will see how to remove the socket(twists out) the remove the bulb/s

it's dead, jim. time for a troubleshoot and repair. These toyotas are notorious for climate control problems. Either your control panel is broken, or the electronic air blend motor is broken, or some plastic in between.
