How can I improvise and install a lock on the rear gate of my 06 Dodge Dakota
Attach a metal block to the inner crossbar and put in a pop-out lock like those on office furniture. That'll stop the crossbar from moving. the only pain to this is that you'd have to unlock every time you want to open or leave it popped out. Not a big production at all. Also make sure you epoxy and additional piece of sheet metal to the inside where you're going to mount the lock. Use JB Weld.

remove the heads of the winshield washers and try soaking them clr. you can get it in any hardwear store or homedepo or try this remove the rubber hose off the washer bottle get it above the nozzles and use a plastic squirt bottle with CLR in it to force it threw the nozzles ,this way you don't have to mess with removing the nozzles and breaking them! I have done this on my truck works like a charm!
High rpm start
yes if you have a v6 0r v8 on the back of the fuel injection you will find a electrial plug with 2 wires on it , remove the plug the sensor is held on with 2 torx screws, remove them, pull out sensor and clean the round end of it with varsol wipe it clean and replace it, put a dab of dielectric grease on the end of the plug and push it back on, also check for vacume leaks with a squirt bottle and soapy water around the rubber hoses, corroded electrial connections will cause this too do the same here remove the plugs and put a dab of grease on them too!
How do i chage a 6 volt system to a 12 volt system on a 1948 dodge oickup
There isn't an easy or cheap way, if you want to use the original parts you will need to fit voltage dropper resistors or regulators for every electrical line from the fuse box, but that won't work with the dynamo or starter motor, you will need to replace them with 12v versions. You could avoid some of the droppers by changing the bulbs or other items like horn, cooling fan (if electric?) heater motor etc etc to 12v. Do you have a wiring diagram? You can't use one big dropper the current would be too high
Frontend smashed in and the hood wont open
since front end is done yank out the grill and you should be able to git at the two bolt that secure the hood latch they are on the crossbar that holds the top of the radiator I think they are 9mm hope this helps
