Over heating

I would drain the antifreeze into a pan from the radiator and take the thermostat out and check it to see if it is opening up at 192 degree. If the thermostat is opening and closing correctly you would then have to take it to a shop and have them do a head gasket test to see if the head gasket is leaking. If you check your oil and it is completely milky then it is leaking into the oil. This you can do yourself by checking your oil in the morning before starting the car up. If it is leaking into the exhaust then the shop will have to do a pressure test. Hope this helps.

Fumes is coming out of the exhuust. strong smell

If it is a strong smell of gas it could be your fuel pressure regulator going bad. If you have not changed the air filter lately it could be as simple as the engine not getting the correct amount of air mixture with the fuel. It could also be your converter clogging up and that is not good because that usually is the most expensive part.
