I have a 2006 Buick Rainier. When driving at lower speed and accelerating or turning the rear end seems to lock up and there is a grinding noise and jerking sensation. What can this be? We put it on

I finally received the answer to this problem with my '06 Rainier CXL. The front gear pack (in mine) needs to be replaced. Vehicle is driving AWD, all the time. Expensive repair- $1600. Mine has 93+K miles, the engine is in awesome condition. To repair or not to repair... that is my struggle.

2006 buick ranier engine makes whining noise that gets worse when you accelerate. how do you fix this?

We replaced our idler pulley that the serpentine belt runs on twice. It cost us roughly $20 and only about half hour to switch it out.
