Just replace the pull out head light switch that should be what's causing that my 97 was doing the same thing and it's easy to remove and install

Find yourself a copy of both wiring diagrams and overlay one on the other in effect. Working out whats missing. Is it that difficult to get the right harness? Given the age I'd have thought there were junk yard offerings?

You don't bleed these. They are part of the system. Bleed the brakes normally.

did you try a pick-a-part junkyard ? They have old wrecked cars, you go there tell'em what you need, they quote you a price, (pay a nominal fee to get in usually,) then you go and walk the lot looking for your car, and see if it still has an undamaged front seat. You have to dis-assemble and remove the part yourself. Usually there are no refunds if you install it and it does not work, so with electronic parts you take a bit of a risk. the next time anything major fails on my '99 Grand Prix I will likely have to do the same.

suspect the blower motor or resistor

Check the ignition switch it is probably faultu.

Most likely cause is a weak relay. Find the headlight relay in the fuse box and swap it with a like relay from another circuit. If this fixes your problem replace the defective relay. If a new relay does not fix the problem you will need to monitor amperage draw along the headlight circuit to find what is causing the excessive amperage.

there should be power on the terminal with the large wire always and only power on the small wire when trying to start car. you can also check it by doing a starter draw test which will need a battery/starter test machine. if you have power when your suppose to in the above and the starter is not turning then you can tap the starter body with a small hammer while someone is trying to start it. if it starts to turn over then the brushes in the starter are bad and the starter will have to be replaced.

Have the charge in the system hecked and fill if needed. Add some ac dye.

when was it last serviced as could be a few things all of which will be rectified by a service or at least diagnosed, i'd guess fuel or ignition problem but get the engine serviced if not done in the last year

Well to start with, if you have a 1995 Dodge van and it has the original engine, you have a fuel injector for each cylinder. The last year Dodge used a carb was 1987.So you could have injectors that are not working, or the plugs may not be firing because of the cap or rotor, or it could be a compression or vac problem.I would want to know which cylinders and then go down the list of possible causes. You should be able to use a vac gauge or tach and pull one wire at a time to find the weak cylinders.
