Did not pass emission

have a professional replace it with a new valve, Be sure that the shop cleans the EGR passages when the EGR valve is replaced. If the EGR system ports are not cleaned, the new valve is at risk of premature failure.

Light sensor

The light sensor is in the dash board top about 2/3rds of the way over toward the passenger side. You will see 3 or 4 small slits, and that is where it picks up the light, or absense of light. Is the twilight control switch, located under the main light switch, in the position to turn the lights on automatically? It is a slide type switch, and must be slid over to the right for the automatic control to work.

REPLACING THE SERPENTINE BELT ON A 1995 BUICK RIVIERA SUPERCHARGED SERIES 1. DO I HAVE TO REMOVE THE TORQUE AXLE BOLT

No, you do not need to remove the torque axle bolt to replace the serpentine belt on your 1995 Buick Riviera Supercharged Series 1. However, you may need to use a serpentine belt tool to relieve tension on the belt before you can remove it.

How do I find another alternator pigtail connector for my 1995 Buick Riviera 3.8 supercharges series 1

Have you tried looking at EBay? 0717b36f-7613-4082-b6c9-aa650c9f337a-ehinm42rxhhytoolj41wyv21-d-0.png I did a quick search and found this. Not sure if this is what you are looking at but certainly there would be a matching pigtail. Otherwise a junkyard (call before you go) and you can probably get one from another GM car. Full size gm chassis with the same engine

1983 buick riveria horn location

If I remember correctly, it should be on the drivers inner fender in front of the left front tire under the hood. Seems like it should be hiding behind the washer bottle or the coolant reservoir.

What's the capacity of trans fluid for a 1981 Buick Riviera 4.1L 252 V-6 take

I would anticipate 9 quarts or liters if the torque converter is also dry. Most fluid will go in the converter with only a quart or so in the pan.

What bolts do I loosen to tighten the power sterring belt on my 1981 buick reveria

IF you have a serpentine belt it's not a matter of adjusting the power steering belt tension because it's done automatically with a serpentine belt tensioner. OTOH, if you have a separate V-belt you'll need to loosen the mounting bolt/nut at the bottom of the steering pump and the adjustment bracket then tighten the belt by moving the adjustment nut to tighten the belt. You might be able to google a video of your particular engine power steering belt adjustment.

I have no heat coming out of my heater on my 1967 Buick Riviera, 430-4. Had engine overhauled. The mechanic may not have hooked the vacuum lines Really want to find a vacuum line diagram for the 67

If you lost a vacuum line then the heater would let hot air out the vents with or without the fan motor running. Do this test with the engine up to operating temperature Touch both hoses with the heater on and temp control to the hottest position. Now check the temperature of both hoses. They should be the same. If not that indicates a blockage of water to the heater core. Test the water flow valve too. It can be plugged with rust or not moving to let water into the core. The core itself can be plugged too. If you really need a hose diagram, a Chilton's manual will be your source of information. The engine won't idle well with a vacuum hose off.
