Brake light wont work on 2000 chev
It could be a fuse or a bulb. Do the 4 way flasher/hazard lights work?
If not, it could also be caused by a faulty multifunction switch. On some early 2000s models there was a recall.

What does a broken flex plate sound like
They don't really make a noise until they completely snap.Then it's a terrible noise when you try to start it. All the ones I have seen break around the bolt pattern on the block.

Gasoline Engines
- Drain the cooling system.
- Unfasten the upper fan shroud bolts and remove the upper fan shroud.
- If equipped, remove the upper panel fasteners and the panel.
- If equipped, remove the upper insulators and brackets.
- Disconnect the radiator upper and lower hoses and, if applicable, the transmission coolant lines.
- Remove the coolant recovery system line, if so equipped.
- Remove the oil coolant lines, if equipped.
- Remove the lower fan shroud bolts and the lower fan shroud.
- Remove radiator from the lower brackets and insulators.
How do you reattach a coolant hose?
clean it very good an if its smooth then just put it back on clean an clamp it good.
other wise :
get some automotive high temp silicon 5.00 an spread a tiny bit on both surfaces an let set 5 min an don't clamp it till 24 hrs later .
so it has to sit .
or
just screw it an clamp it an it will be some what sealed good nuff.
