No spark to the coil
No spark to the coil or is it no spark from the coil? First verify that you have 12 volts to the coil when you turn ignition switch on if not you will never have spark from the coil going to the plugs. If you do have 12 volts to the coil and still no spark you have a bad coil. To see if the coil is firing, unplug a spark plug wire from it's plug and hold it to a chasis ground while attempting to start the vehicle. There should be a strong spark and popping sound. Remember to wear leather glove or thick work glove if holding the wire by hand to avoid shock. If there is a strong spark then coil is good.

is the battery fully charged? will it jump start/ if the battery is good and it wont jump start. It sounds like a bad starter, sometimes on a GM auto you can tap the starter housing with a hammer and get it to start if this works you will need to get a new starter. Note tap the starter dont beat on it.
No power and speedometer swings between 0 and 90 mph while van is barely moving
HelloThe engine
and transmission in this cars drive train are fully
electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM (Power Train
Control Module). Whenever a problem like this occurs the computer
stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions
to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant teperature sensor and MAF
sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to
read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with
a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform
the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s)
DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL THE DIAGNOSIS & TESTING IS

1997 chevy express van overheated now no oil pressure
sounds like possibly head gaskets, when you overheated probably warped heads causing coolant in oil and coolant in cylinders therefore partially hydrolocking...antifreeze does not compress like fuel vapors .check oil and see if looks like creme to light chocholate color. this means coolant in oil, this is very ******* bearings, eats them up and if thats the problem you loose oil pressure cause bearings are sloppy from being worn. Bottom Line.you might be looking for another enj.or rebuild

Not spraying windshield wiper fluid.
hi locate the pump, and get a small flat head screwdriver and just leaver it out, you can test it while its in place, just get 2 lengths of wire enough to reach a power source and to the pump, just put earth to earth and live to live on the pump and it should run, if not then the pump is u/s if it does you either might have a problem in the column switch, or the wiring...hope this helps

After it sets you have to cut key on and off
I've got an old Buick Park Avenue with 200,000 miles on it that doe the exact same thing. It is caused by fuel leaking past the injectors while the vehicle sits overnight. Your problem may be something else. Have the computer scanned for codes. That's usually the best place to start looking.
