RESET BY TAKING OUT THE NEGATIVE OF THE BATERRY!!!!!!

Is there a clicking sound? Is it in park? Is the battery ok?

check wiring going to injector, ohm the injector,also check fuel pressure regulator,

no there is not but the seal on the tank may be damaged.. also check that the breath line inter the tank to the top of the tank side has not been messed around with as this helps the fuel get to the engine. the seal on the tank should cover the neck of the tank to stop spills in the event off a crash. the breather line is opened and closed by the engine running. when some one is trying to steal fuel and they cannot get the cap off the get under and cut the breather pipe as you can suck out the fuel from there if you have a full tank.

sounds like the mode switch has gone bad and needs replacing.the mode switch is the one that changes the direction of air flow from defrost to dash to floor. if nothing has blocked the vents to the window then this is what it sounds like.

If it is from the same generation beetle it will fit but must be programmed after installing to have the vehicle start with your keys.

Sounds like you unplug tge wiring harness or broke the speedometer cable. Id leave more towards an unplugged harness.

Hi Jono,did you bleed the air from the cooling system when you replaced the water pump?

sounds like heater core may need to be cleaned... volks wagons have heating systems that sometimes do very strange things for no apparent reason....

I'm trying to remember which problem this was if I helped you. Anyway if it's for the gas door not opening, no not unless you break the tab from the car body that wedges the gas door. You can try squeezing both end of the door just so much that it would free itself from the tab and leave it to the ajar position because it will lock up again and need to do that trick again. Same if the problem with the trunk release less the squeezing part, or no you can't.
