Here are some of the causes of surges, stalls at stops, slow idle speed, erratic idle speed, rough idle and engine hesitation (and other problems), it is in most cases the idle speed control air-bypass valve and or throttle valve and upper intake, these area's get full of gunk and combustion residue over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

Not sure of your problem but My son's Olds would not start when the temperature got cold and he replaced the spark plugs and wires and no problem after that.The plugs were not in good shape.

Generally the technique is to remove the door knobs and levers, remove the inside door cover panel which are held in place with plastic pop fasteners (they snap out a socket with a bit of prying), which will gain you access to in inside door mechanisms and the glass. Next roll or push the window (or what is left of it ) up and unscrew the fasteners which hold it to the bottom track. Pull the old glass out and reverse the process with the new glass. Cars vary so much it would be best to search on Youtube.com for your specific model of car to get specifics, or get a shop manual for you car.

First I'd double check the plugs were attached in the right order if you mix a couple up it can cause symptoms like this. An auto parts store should be able to tell you the firing order for your vehicle. Hope this helps.

The quad driver is a component inside the engine computer that controls 4 different sensors. The code usually means the computer is failing.

start with a new set of PLUG, WIRES & CAP / ROTOR BUTTON. dont forget to set the gap on the plugs, the store can give upi the correct setting. I believe it's .60 but not 100%

Have to remove the rear brake drums & turn the star wheel at the bottomI think you need to take them completelyapart & clean & lube things, as they are selfadjusting & not doing so

Could be TPS sensor,but you can adj. set screw at bottom throttle body move CCW.

You didn't say what it is? What keeps cracking?

You could have a weak fuel pump causing it not to accelerate to a higher speed. The brakes going to the floor indicates that there may still be air in your brake system, ora bad brake booster not creating the needed vacuum for high velocity braking. The other thing is if you have an EBCM (Electronic brake control module) it could have dirty connections or just be going bad. Hope this helps.

The best thing to do is have a local transmission repair shop run some basic tests. This can be any number of things. Has the fluid and filter ever been replaced? If not do that first.
