My 2005 Chevy Malibu's 6 CD changer will not play

Extreme heat can cause warping and the cd will not evenly eject or exit the slot. the player may have to be removed and the cd physically extracted from the player. Delco players have a lot of plastic cogs, flywheels and gears in them that get old and crack or split. Hence, the player can no longer spit out the CD.

Chevy malibu keyless entry malfunction

Key fobs have to be reprogrammed. something has knocked the coding off. Search the web for procedures to program fobs. It usually entails operating ignition a series of power lock sequences and the like. If that does not work you can take it to the dealer and they can recode it using the data from you cars computer, but that is extremely expensive.

Start and idle the engine in PARK for 3 minutes. With a scan tool, monitor desired and actual RPM.The ECM will start to learn the new idle cells and Desired RPM should start to decrease.Ignition OFF for 60 seconds.Start and idle the engine in PARK for 3 minutes. After the 3 minute run time the engine should be idling normal. NOTE During the drive cycle the check engine light may come on with idle speed DTCs. If idle speed codes are set, clear codes so the ECM can continue to learn. If the engine idle speed has not been learned the vehicle will need to be driven at speeds above 70 km/h (44 mph) with several decelerations and extended idles. After the drive cycle, the engine should be idling normally. If the engine idle speed has not been learned, turn OFF the ignition for 60 seconds and repeat step 6.Once the engine speed has returned to normal, clear DTCs.

2005 Malibu MAXX car stereo dead, rear radio too.

Please check your owners manual for the location of the 10 amp fuse for the radio. On some models you have to reset the security feature on the radio/CD player for it to work. The info below has been stated to work on a no go radio. I have not confirmed this procedure. Remove the lower fuse box cover, with the power off, removed the 10 Amp fuse for the "Radio." the fuse may be good. Fuses are diagrammed in the owner's manual. With the fuse removed, start the car, turn the car off, replace the fuse and turn the key to "ACC" to see if the radio was "Reset." Would the alarm cause the radio to malfunction? If your Anti Theft lock was activated check your owners manual under radio and check for a 4 number password. Sometimes it is taped to the upper part of the glove box. If you do not have the CODE you will need to take the vehicle to a dealership or a repair center. They use your vehicles vin number get the code.

My 2005 Malibou Maxx

can be a sign the cam or crank sensor is on its way out, can also be a dirty MAF sensor. cam sensor will make the engine run ruff, MAF will make engine ruff and not idle properly, Crank sensor if it fails it shuts engine down as it dont know were the engine is at on its cycle. air filter changed or replaced damage air filter will coat the maf with muck and it will need cleaning off the sensor, easy to do with MAF cleaner. sensors they can fail when they to hot for them to run anymore or to cold. the resistance in the sensor goes up and down in different temperatures. some time when it goes completely out of range the engine light comes on, but a failing one that is still in range makes the engine run out of order.

I think that the servo controlled temperature door

You are correct about the main blend door sticking friend. And it happens to cover the heater core part of the box under the dash on the passenger side. Look under the hood at the firewall and see where the hoses connect to the heater core. That's the position your looking for. Could also be just a tight bend in a vacuum line from the blend switch valve to the door itself. Everything to do with heat and A?C is vacuum actuated from a vacuum canister under the hood. That could be your fuel gauge problem , plus the solder they used , have you heard of silver migration .Just guessing as to a problem never fixed anything , that's all anyone on here would be doing , guessing . Testing electrical circuits ,power an grounds . Loaded circuit voltage testing, voltage drop testing etc.. Do you know how to do automotive electrical testing , how to read an use a wiring diagram to pin point test areas . Do you know what C.A.N. is controller area network , a serial data ,communication network for the modules on the vehicle . How to Diagnose Controller Area Network CAN How to repair GM Instrument Cluster Speedometer Gauge Stepper Electric Testing Techniques You Need to Know Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html You have no idea of the complexity of the electronics on your vehicle , The BCM , radio , HVAC , Instrument cluster , ABS , PCM/ECM , SRS , an others are all hooked to to the data bus ,or network , all it takes is one module to act up to bring the whole system down , causing no start problems !
