If CEL is on then you need to read the fault codes for direction. You've swapped a lot of parts unnecessarily and likely created more problems than you solved.You won't be successful guessing.Keep your old GM original parts because after matket engine sensors/actuators are notorious for poor quality and usually create more problems than solved.

CHECK SPARK AND FUEL RELAY

Hello. It seems your crankshaft position sensor may be at fault. Sometimes the MAP and/or MAF sensor can be at fault too. Does the 'Check Engine' or 'Service Engine Soon' lamp light on the instrument cluster? If it does, the ECM is, more and likely good. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

Replace the master switch assembly.

Take it to a garage that has a smoke tester. They pressurise with smoke and see where smoke comes out.

Try re-calibrating actuators, there's TUBE videos on how. I want to address the bad idle when defrost is on. You probably disconnected the battery, which is what caused this. Remove your throttle body and clean it with fuses #10 and #28 removed under the hood. That will fix the dying when AC or Defrost is on.

Your battery is dead. Why it is dead is another investigation. Is it getting charged? If not the alternator could be gone. Charge the battery, or if it is 6+ years old, replace the battery, charge, and then test.If it runs ok with a charged battery, but the battery keeps running down, then it is likely the alternator or something in the charging circuit.OK, now we know you have checked the battery. The door locks not opening and the relay failing to pull up means they are not getting enough juice. So if it's not the battery, then its something else in the electrical system. Because two completely separate systems (locks, starter/relay) are affected, it is something common to both of them. But go ahead and check the fuses anyway. Also check all electrical connections (Battery and other) for corrosion or looseness

Most bolt heads are measure from one flat side to the other across the middle. Use a tape measure or a ruler to check. The measurement will be slightly under or slightly over the size you need. Round the number up or down to the nearest spanner size. You might need to use an adjustable wrench for an 8 sided nut.

Sounds like the sending unit. That is where the wire plugs in for the temp gauge, on or near the thermostat housing.

This sounds like a failing fuel pump. If the power is on and you loose pressure the pump is bleeding by. Replace with an AC Delco pump only this has been an on going issue with after market brands.

The 4.2 engine is an inline engine. The #4 cylinder is the 4th cylinder from the front. The firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4

There isn't a seperate IAC on our I6 engine. It's all done through the throttle body. Having idle problems?

in relation to the cruise control ????? There is no vacuum used for cruise control on your vehicle . Your vehicle has a computer controlled electronic throttle system .The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the signal circuits of the cruise control switches in order to determine when to capture and maintain the selected vehicle speed. The PCM uses the throttle actuator control (TAC) module motor in order to control the vehicle speed. For further information on the TAC system, refer to Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Description . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop. Need a factory or some other professional type scanner to check for codes an data input from the switches to the PCM

Ur evap system in tank area has issue...probly the solenoid. Get a smoke test done and a scan
