Pull the bonnet seal from around the bulk head, remove the plenum chamber cover, for easier access, remove both wipers and pull the trim under the wipers carefully away from the car, start from the edge and work your way alongVERY CAREFULLY, they snap really easy, once this is out of the way you have access to the battery clamps and easy removal.
Coolant disappears, but why no visible leakage?
You need to get your hands on a coolant pressure tester and pump the system up to 16 psi to test for leaks. Pull spark plugs, disable fuel pump relay and check for seepage into the combustion chambers, after the test crank the motor over and see if it comes out the spark plug holes, possible bad head gasket, also check to see if heater core is leaking out the ac condensation tube. Rent the tool, if possible, they also sell a shop air style too that can be adjusted to keep 16psi at the fill reservoir all the time instead of pumping and pumping up the system with the hand pump tester.
Engine vibration and flashing check engine light
The flashing check engine light and the symptom you described indicate you have an engine misfire. The most common problem is the coils. You have two options. You can either scan the engine computer for trouble codes that will help you identify or narrow down the possibilities. I'm going to bet that there is one or more of the following codes. P0301, P0302, P0303, and/or P0304. The other option is to get a spark tester and test each coil one at a time to see which one is not working. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at
