The shop failed to properly diagnose the OBD Codes
or verify the repairs

I would guess there was no road test following any work,
or any scan tool data looked at,on a road test, or driven
long enough to have all the Emission Monitors run

Should have kept it a day & done a better job

Hi. the factory alarm should not cause the car to not start. There will be an isuue with the key code or TCI ignition module. These need to be programmed after repairs so will need to go into a dealer.

There is no reset to a fuel pump. A non working fuel pump will have to be replaced , but first check your fuel pump relay in the fuse relay box, (located to the left of the steering under the dash).

Have you been adding any coolant? You could have a leaking heater core, which will usually leak to the inside, wetting the carpets in the well. Most American cars locate the heater core on the passenger side of the firewall, so a leak will typically show up on only the passenger side floor. I once had an Audi that had the heater core mounted just about dead center on the firewall. When it started leaking, both sides of the well(s) got wet.

Think we need an engine code for this one. You will find it in your service book, 3 letters. Also on sticker in boot and on timing belt cover.

Fault codes would help, but based on the fault description You probably need your throttle body cleaned and basic setting carried out on throttle.

The symptoms of a flat battery the engine wont start you may hear a repeated nose from starter motor or if the battery is completely flat nothing will happen or if there is some voltage you may see flashing dash lights and clicking relays behind the dash. The easiest way is obtain a volt meter and also get the battery tested.
