Check the flexible brake lines on the front two wheels. The rubber inside can become swollen which will restrict the release of pressure when you let off the brakes. After a few brake applications, enough pressure will build up to keep the brakes applies to the front two wheels. It will also severely wear the front pads .

It sounds as if you didn't align the timing marks properly. Did you double check them?

I would check the fan that doesn't come on by disconnecting the wire harness and providing power directly.

This vehicle does not have a fuel filter.Around 2005 Gm stopped using replaceable filters. They just use the strainer in the tank which you dont replace unless an issue arises. You first want to look to see the status of the code. Is the code current, pending, or permanent? If pending, you will want to clear the code and see if it comes back, same thing with current. If the code is permanent then you would want to start by visually inspecting the wiring harness at the transfer case and the transfer case control module. This lo beam description, hope you can read it. You have hi and lo beam fuses, on lo beam use test light on the lo beam fuse, any voltage? The voltage comes from lo beam relay. Voltage and ground are important.

From the factory you had orange Dexicool. If you have drained the system, I would suggest filling it with the yellow universal. If you are just adding a little, use the orange.

Your best bet ,take it to a qualified repair shop that has the diagnostic test equipment to find the problem .

Assuming that you feel and hear the engine smoothly accelerating while the stutter occurs, you are probably looking at transmission. Torque converter? possibly. A full diagnostic of the transmission is certainly in order as there are a number of things that might cause that condition.
