your battery needs to be replaced you probably have a dead cell and the only repair is replace it

If there is a blinking car icon with an "X" over it. This icon means the Immobilizer has been activated and hence won't allow the car to start. It could be due to a bad SCU, Start Control Unit. The SCU is actually the ignition switch on these cars.
Most of the time it's triggered by the anti-theft system..You can try this trick i learned that the dealers won't tell you...try locking and unlocking of the doors five times with the remote to reset the immobilizer and see if this helps.
Since you were in an accident it could be a safety related issue...such as a steering box fault. Your owners manual has some information in it on the immoblizer.

Remove spark plugs and try turn over engine if will not with plugs remove you bent the crankshaft , if it does turn over a couple of tmes and push water out of cylinders then spray wd 40 in them and let it sit outside in hot sun and dry. Change oil and reinstall plugs and go.

look in the trunk... either it has side panels that can be removed... or you will see a hole in the side of the lining with a sticker that points out where it is.

Without operator manuals it took some time to find the fuse box above the passenger footwell. Trial and error with a multimeter exposed the blown fuses, and the problem was corrected. Thanks.

Go to a Volvo dealer.
Softwere or fuel gauge is damage.

I don't envy you; I don't see you curing this without disassembling the door panel. Linkage has broken or separated and there is no way to cure the problem without gaining access to the linkage.

Hello. Remove your car's air filter by 'releasing 2 metal clasps on the air filter box and remove air filter. 3-4 bolts are under the air filter. Disconnect/release clamps and lift out air filter box. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

You may have an old engine oil, why don't you have your car service and change oil and oil filter as well. Then if the problem still appears, then that's the time to start tracing where the problem really starts.

Do you have anymore information. If so please forward everything you have regarding this problem. If the car is starting, running but not accelerating there may be a problem with the accelerator pedal position sensor or related circuit. Usually the engine light will turn on because the EMC identified a fault and a code or codes will be stored. If the engine light is on or flashing please have the codes read. The easy and cheapest fix is to get a new key cut and tape the head of the original key in close proximity to the halo ring sensor.
