You probably have a drive belt that is slipping, It should be self adjusting, so the belt would need to be replaced.

Off the top of my head I can think of the fuse for the headlights. Also check the relay for the headlights. Also it would be unusual but could be both bulbs went out.

they are different circuits. the tails are really park lights after all the front parks are not the tail nor are side lamps tail but they are all on the park circuit. the first thing to do is look at all park lamps the ones that are dead, are bad bulbs ( or bad wiring to same) if all are Dead, (are they) the the fuse blew. marked TAIL. (from tin lizzy days. that name, but is park)
