Problems with Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection - Constantly connects and disconnects me from web?

Try using the Sony with an external wi fi adapter. The internal one could be bogus. Before adding new one, go into Device Manager and Disable the existing one in your Sony. Then add the new one with its software.

I had the same problem - solution was to disable the Windows "Wireless Zero Configuration". Go to Control Panel, then Administrative Tools, then Services, scroll down to "Wireless Zero Configuration", right click and select Stop. This should allow the manufacturers driver to take over. The Windows driver interferes with it.

This fixed exactly this problem for me, hope it is useful to someone out there.

AWESOME! This fixed the problem COMPLETELY!!! Thankyou SOOO much

Comment by ceryac, posted on Jun 26, 2008 This morning I have started getting the error message Bad Pool Header after my computer has been on line for about 25-30 minutes. RegCure said it can fix Blue Screen errors but it does not fix this.I have no idea why or what to do to fix it.

Brand new cannot log in

Use an Ethernet cable to connect your laptop to one of the "wired" ports. Then, open a command-line prompt, and enter 'IPCONFIG'. What IP-address is shown as the "gateway" ? It should be "192.168.something.something". Use that IP-address to try to login.
