I have a x-10 powerhouse mini controller. Is there something more I need to make it work?
Yes, you need X10-compatible control modules for any device you want to add. The modules plug into the wall outlet, then the device you want to control plugs into the module. From what I read, the control signals are sent through the power lines to the respective module. Read the manual to see how to reference a controller button to a particular module.

Hi i need to khow that how chenge the password of
You will need to login to the router and change its configuration. Usually routers have a default IP address of 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. You can access it through a web browser by typing in that IP address. The default login is usually user:admin password:admin.

I dropped my x-10 palm pad remote in water
I've dropped a lot of phones and other devices in water! No feeling quite like it :(Maybe people will advice against this, but I take the hose to my vacuum and (with the batter out) vacuum every inch of my devices. Another tip that has worked is to put the device into ziploc bag of white rice for a day or so. It'll absorb any water that is still locked inside. Hope it works for you!

My pool light turns on
The dial with the letters is for setting the "house code". The dial with the numbers assigns a number for each controled device. If your neighbor's house code is the same as yours it is possible that their controller is tuning on your light. Change your house code to another number. Remember that all controllers and controlled devices must be on the same house code to work, so you have to change the house code on the remote also. If you don't want the remote to work just set it to a house code letter that is not being used by anything else. If you don't want the remote to work just for that device, just change the device number.
