Replace with a capstan belt from Marrs Communications it should be a 16.8" IC belt. Fred know which one if you tell him the model. The capstan motor can also be worn out. These need to be taken apart and examined at to brush life and to see if it has bee overheated. I get a lot of motors that are burned up by customers. It is a $150 part.

This is notorious of a stretched belt. The belt should be a new one of less than 3 years old otherwise it needs to be replaced. The dula capstan decks are picky as to what belt goes into them that is why I get mine from Marrs Commununications and the belt would be the 16.8 " sized belt. Oler decks like that also need all kinds of other work as well.

Replace the belt and make sure the capstan motor still is good.

PLW01 has 2 wires: Black wire connects to Hot and Blue wire connects to Load wire.

Remove PLW01 and you have Hot and Load wires.
Standard light switch has two brass colored screws, and one green ground screw.
Connect either wire to either brass screw.
Connect bare ground wire to green screw.

Sounds like one or more of the ignition coils are bad or going bad. that would be the first thing I would check.
