My Toshiba 75u7880az LCD tv blows the 5A fuse as soon as its plugged in!

Hi, Please immediately stop using this device and send it to Toshiba for a repair or replacement. It's not normal for a tv to blow fuses like this and could be a fire hazard. Thank you.

Need to unlock side panel on Toshiba regza 42AV635DB without remote

Without a remote control, you can't. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one. To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. All the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have. Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the site http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Check these sites too. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ https://elektrotricks.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops; as well as online shops. Visit the sites by Desktop computer and type in the brand name of your device in the search box at the right column. It will help you find the remote you have to buy. Mobille view has no search

Toshiba TV model 50HPX95 does't Boot and the screen only shows the message Booting... . Anybody knows if it is worth paying to fix it?

worth , is personal thing, but boils down to. what is the cost in shop to fix it, (not cheap) against a new TV or used, only you can can answer any question of economics. you posted TV to computers, and TVs are not. that. this TV is 13 years old today, does the TV part work, at all , even on antenna? That TV has lots of features, do any work at all? the home screen is dead, (booting is the clue) so sounds like to me power supply issue inside, making the brain inside dead or its memory banks. my guess is used, dead, 13 year old TV is only worth $100 for parts. and tad more working, I'd upgrade,

Hello sir My Toshiba LCD model 40CV600E Problem was no display but sound can still can hear.

i moved you to TV from computers. can you see the video on the screen with a flash light.??? i bet yes. all LCD have back lamps. that must work or turn black, or dim use flashlight first to see data/tv presentations,, this TV is 9 years old today this TV has CCFL back lamps (sell it and get LED TV) here is page 37 in your manual (ive never seen one last 9 years) quote The cold cathode ? uorescent lamp used for the back light on this TV has longevity. When the brightness of the screen comes down, or the ? ckers of the screen are caused, or some parts of the screen do not light up, it may reach the end of its life. Contact a service technician. end.

Multicolor vertical lines on one third of screen?

Unfortunately TV's aren't built to last anymore...once LED sets came out the life of them dropped in half over what they were 10 yrs ago.. 2.5 yrs isn't that far below average anymore. .There is a good chance you have Tcon board issues, you can try the old trick of cooking it in your oven and see if that helps since it started out as intermittent or would work for awhile and got worse but only about 20% at best of the time that works, you can find instructions on how to do it on youtube if you want to try, it won't hurt anything but chances are it won't fix it...next step is buy a tcon board but there are other things that could cause it , tcon would be where I would start

TW cable remote does not work after Mitsubishi LCD TV turn on

Yes, try that. It is easy to do and doesn't cost anything. You've tried new batteries in the remote as well right? There are two types of remotes, IR (Infrared light LED is used) and RF (Radio Frequency). With an IR unit I do not see any way there can be interference as long as you don't have an IR lamp around the TV and TW DVR box. On the other hand, with RF, depending on where you live and other factors, there could well be RF interference. You'll have to locate the interference and remove it. In this day and age, things such as LED and CF light bulbs DO cause RF interference. If you use these kinds of lights in the room AND you know that the remote is an RF remote then try turning all the lights off in the room and try again.

32'' Toshiba Regza difficuut to switch on from plug & standby

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size. Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; [Exclude the model number], in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.
