It seems to be your handset is heavily attacked by viruses.So it is better to scan with good antivirus,by connecting handset to PC. Otherwise you have to reinstall entire Sony-Ericsson software for your handset.I think it helps. Let me know.

PUK codeand PIN Code: Pleasedont try more than 3 times.If you try more than 3 times the Sim will getlocked.And it will ask for PIN code.Both these PUK and PIN code can be givenonly by the network service provider. Please call the network service providerof your mobile.And ask him to provide the PUK code or PIN code.He will ask yousome basic details like name,date of birth for his verification.And hewill provide you the PUK and PINcode.This is done for free of cost.

VERY SIMPLE JUST RESTART OR CHANGE ANOTHER LOGO TO AVOID THIS. AGAIN THERE IS ANY PROBLEM MEANS JUST REMOVE ALL CONTENTS IN MOBILE AND MAKE A BACK UP OF CONTACTS. THEN RESET THE PHONE. THIS **** WILL HELP YOU SIR .. THANK YOU

Since the screen is dead I would suggest the easiest way to back up / access important content is through your PC/laptop. Install the necessary Sony Ericsson software on your computer and and connect it to your Sony Ericsson P1i and follow the back up instruction. Hope this helps. Please rate

According to your problem description,it seems to be problem with your Sony Ericson MBD due to rain.If your phone circuit may shorted to rain drops,it may damaged internal parts of uour set. So you have to replace Sony Ericson mainboard with new one.

i had the same problem, fortunately today i solved it :)
first remove your simcart, then turn on the phone, after getting to the simcart request section by using the scroll key input this code :

Up * Down Down * Down *

then you will go to the secret Menu, by selecting the third option (format the internal memory) you can solve your problem.

you dont need to press "c" button on p990i instead there is @ sign button which you have to press while connecting your phone to usb.

you should access the P1's Control Panel, and perform a hard reset. this will delete all data though so make a backup before. after this, your p1 will be ok again

First Option:
mostly nokia chargers doesn't make problems...
just try the following..
connect ur mobile with a system (usb cable)...
found out whether it is charging or not...
if the same prblm appears then there is a prblm in ur cell phone or power jack(socket)...
if it charged with usb cable buy a new charger
Please change Phone Bettery and check the charging
IF Charging Problem not Solved So
Second Option:
Your Phone charging IC Fault So Please change charging IC
And charging Problem will Solved Quickly

If the phone does not do so even in the location where there is good signal strength then the trans-receiver section had failed. If you have tools to remove , open and clean the terminals, of the main board, clean the suspected areas of any moisture , dry and set back. This is a highly embedded unit and so the chances of have it done is very little , The option to have it checked,confirmed and estimated is the best way than to tamper with limitations.

Possible that the software must be reloaded as it might have errors. It wil be good to remove the battery and memory card , check for errros on the card with a scan on your PC. replace battery and restart. now make sure that your service is active as you must call up the service provider to confirm the settings. If the phone does not repond then it wil be wise to have it checked at the Sony service.
