Problems burning disk Movie studio 9.0
First thing to do is check the drivers for the Burner. Go to MY COMPUTER right click,go to PROPERTIES, DEVICE MANAGER, and look for any yellow exclamation or question marks. If there, click on it and update the drivers. If that does not look like an issue, update the drivers for the device anyway. After that reboot. Try to burn a video file to see if it completes without errors. Try another burning software than the one giving you errors to eliminate problems with that software. Lastly and more than likely (which seems to be a re-occurring problem for a lot of people) change your media that you burn on. Memorex seems to be very querky and changing from it has helped a lot of people fix their issues. Try burning video files without SonyVegas (that will rule out Vegas as a install or file corruption issues). Lastly, I have resolved the issue by going to the device manager as described about and uninstalled the DVDdrive in question and re-boot. During the re-boot process Windows will re-install the DVDdrive and drivers it needs. I know I threw a lot of options at you, but hopefully one will work without posting attempt after attempt to each other. I hope this helps and good luck!
SONY CX330 camera shutting down
Why do they need to be turned on all the time? If your using them as security cameras they are not designed for that job. The 330 could be overheating because of the constant use. Some cameras have a built in 'Overheat' switch which could be switching it off.
These cameras are designed for short periods of use, recording things like parties and holiday trips. How old are these handycams? These do get old and the technology in them can wear out if in constant use.
Sony cfd-s70 Will Not Read CDs
There are a few possible causes for a Sony CFD-S70 CD player not reading CDs. Some possible issues include:
- Dirty or damaged CD: Make sure the CD is clean and free of scratches or damage.
- Dirty lens: The lens that reads the CD may be dirty or dusty. A cleaning disc can be used to clean the lens, or you can use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe it clean.
- Faulty lens: If the lens is faulty, it may need to be replaced.
- Faulty CD mechanism: If the CD mechanism is not working properly, it may need to be repaired or replaced.
- Power Supply Problem: Make sure the power supply is connected and the power outlet is working.
- Firmware issue: A firmware issue could prevent the CD player from reading CDs. You should check the Sony website to see if there are any firmware updates available for your specific model.
If the problem persists after trying these suggestions, it is recommended to take the device to a professional repair service or the nearest Sony Service center.
