Whenever I try and pull a shot on my espresso

There is a problem with the flowmeter, it is located under the drain tray with 3 electrical connectors to it. The flashing means it cannot read the magnet on the wheel. You might have to replace the flowmeter. First try programming a button on the side that is not working, if it does not hold the program then it is the flowmeter.

There are 2 1/4 turn valves under the black safety cover under the drain tray, make sure the one closest to the inlet solenoid is turned off. If that is off and water still flows into the boiler then one of the exchangers might be damaged.

Hello there, the problem with your unit is most likely the control board. With the power outage
Although you can try to do a reset of the unit. Here is a link to where you can get the lowest prices for the genuine parts. First you would need the parts manual to get the part number and also you can get a complete user manual to enable you re install the the unit after changing parts. To reset the unit simply unplug it for about 5 mins this should reset the unit features.
Basically when the power failure came up it could have brought about a power surge which might have burnt up the control board hence the need for replacement.
Hope this support has been helpful?
Thank you

if the water smells really bad you might have gotten milk in the boiler and if thats the case you will have to totally disassemble the machine and clean every part with milk cleaner to remove any trace of milk on the boiler side. if it just seems like dark brown water it could be that it was left on for a long time with out replentishing the water lvl in the boiler.
