i have a chipper too, and it started giving lot of problems 4 yrs ago, so I got this manual from reliable-store for free and I don't think Ive visited a mechanic or fixya for help for more than 3-4 times out of the 20 times I fixed the chipper in these 4 years

Some fixya user told me a website reliablestore it is very good.. I used it to repair my shredder it had some spark issue which wasn't easily fixed. you can go there and try most shredder owners know aboutt it it's free so no harm in trying

Hi there's this website something like reliable-store and it is very amazing for manual for repairing servicing anything someone on fixya recommended it to me and I thank him even today They have full manuals and it's verrrrry cheap and mine I got free in offers 3rd time I also had an issue with the file so the girl replaced it in 30 mins there is one more but i don't remember its name it was 2 years back bitman something link this Try it out brother

Overload protection is a euphemism for too much electricity going into the motor. That can only be caused by two things - 1 - the motor is not turning freely because of some restriction in the drive mechanism or 2 - some of the motor windings have shorted out and now the motor windings have less resistance than before and more electricity is entering and less back emf is being generated. Condition 1 is repairable 2 - fogetit - motor is shot.

I would say a bearing or armature mount is loose. When the power is applied the magnetic fields are pulling the armature up against the other coils. I have had this happen to me before and the problem was the bearing slipped out of its mount. A rubber mallet fixed it.

I have a flymo 430 petrol strimmer and cannot start it. ive cleaned the filter, put in new plug it went first time and then stopped and wont start again the plug seems to get wet all the time any ideas

The breaker is tripping on an over current condition. This could be caused by the motor being stuck and not moving or some sort of short circuit. I suggest, with it unplugged, that you find a way to rotate the chipper head or the motor. May have to disassemble to accomplish this. If it will not turn it may be bound up and you are going to have to take apart anyway to remove the item.

Check your battery connections or cables. If they aren't tight or if there is a short, that may cause the battery to not provide enough current to turn the starter over.
